ÇANAKKALE
Çanakkale is a city locates next to the Dardanelle on the intersection point of Aegean and Marmara Sea.. During the Turkish War of Independence, it has the most severe battles and became famous with the saying “Çanakkale can not be passed.. It is worth seeing with its fresh air, and historical places which are all witnesses of legends … Sardine fish, wine, olive, cheese helva, and keşkek.. You are not regarded as you visited Çanakkale, without tasting those flavors …
Gökçeada
The old name for Gökçeada was Imroz which means God of fertility on barren soils. This name really describes the Island perfectly. As you approach the Island by ferry, the hard rock faces appear cold with an unwelcoming structure however this appearence is soon forgotten when you enter the Island and see the astonishingly fertile lands with vineyards, olive groves for as far as the eye can see and grain the height of grown men.....Imagine miles of sandy beaches, where you can enter the sea without hearing the sound of a single soul and really enjoy the fabulous turquoise waters as you take in the beautiful bays. What more could be needed to create the perfect holiday heaven?
