Bartın
Bartın is a city in the west of the black sea which grabs the attention of visitors with its natural beauty, beaches, historical structures and caves. Bartın has become well known all over Turkey for its hand weaved products such as painted kerchiefs and wooden pressed inscriptions.
Meals in Bartın vary widely with meat, vegetables, pastries, soups and meals cooked with olive oil which are generally served with rice. You will also find a delicious that a delicious selection of desserts are available too.
Don’t leave Bartın without eating fish and salad in Amasra, swimming at the beaches in Bozköy and Çakraz, taking part in the trekking excursions and visiting an authentic Bartın house
Inkumu
Inkumu is 14km from Bartın city centre. To the north of its beach is the Black sea and to the south is forestry land. The forest is rich, with a wide variety of plants and herbs and gives a feeling of great depth with fabulous tones of green.
The golden rays of light which fall over the forest and turquoise sea at sunset create a magical ambience for those who are lucky enough to watch it. At the peak of the mountain in Inkumu, you can find a small scale crater lake. The natural formation of the side of the mountain by the beach resembles an elephant whilst the eastern side resembles the deck of a ship.
