The owner Attorney Mehmet Ongen, an environmentalist and an attorney-at-law, fought a lengthy and challenging battle in order to protect the traditional texture of the Yesilyurt Village, where he was born. He aimed at reinforcing his contribution through this hotel that is active since 2000. As you look at the view of the Mount Ida and the Agean Sea through pine and olive trees you realize what you have been missing while living in the city. Most of the ingredients used in cooking the meals are organic produce grown in their own farm. The skilled kitchen team love to garnish your table with authentic, distinguished and healthy flavors. Thanks to the specially designed meeting hall and environmental activities, those who wish to merge business and entertainment are regulars of the place. The newly built large turf and beach area was opened last year on the Kucukkuyu waterfront, in 3-km distance to the hotel.

KAZ MOUNTAIN
Kaz Mountain (Mount Ida), with its gorgeous nature, is 90 km away from Çanakkale. The ecological area of the Kaz Mountain is consşdered as one of the most amazing natural areas in Turkey with its rich flora, clean air rich in oxygen, green forests, freezing rivers, rich antic and historical features. Its beauty is not limited to these amazing natural beauties, Kaz Mountain has always become the center of attention due to its role in ancient history and Greek mythology. Legend says that the first beauty contest in the world was hold in the mountain. In the contest where Paris, son of the Trojan King Priam, was the judge; Goddesses Hera, Athena and Aphrodite gave the first bribes in world history with their offerings to Paris to be selected as the most beautiful. Aphrodite, who had offered the love of the most beautiful woman of the world, Helen, won the contest. This led to the wrath of Hera and Athena, so Paris and the city of Troy was cursed. According to the legend, the gods of the Olympos watched the Trojan War from Mount Ida (Kaz Mountain). In mythology, this mount is also said to be the birthplace of Zeus.
The mystery hidden in the Kaz Mountain is gradually unveiled with the ongoing excavations in sites of Troy, Assos, Antandros, Apollon Smintheon.

YEŞİLYURT VILLAGE
Yeşilyurt Village, used to be called Büyük Çetmi in older times, is a village of Çanakkale located in greenery on the outskirts of Kaz Mountain, combining both the sea and mountain tourism. Yeşilyurt stands out with its clean and fresh air like an oxygen tent. It’s been proved that this place has the second highest oxygen percentage in the world (26,5% in various time of the year). The blowing wind is a cure for especially asthma and cardiac patients since it comes down from the Kaz Mountain through the pine forests. The stone buildings of the village constitute the beautiful examples of stonework for centuries. Yeşilyurt’s old stone houses are recently popular with those families coming from Istanbul and Ankara who choose to live in nature. The village is in the center of the Ida Mountain, surrounded with olive and pine trees.

pınar bizim 06.10.2009 15:25:32Otelin manzarası ve kahvaltısı dışında herşey korkunç.. Otel çalışanları ve sahibi müşteriye doymuş gibiler.Küçük oğlum için omlet istiyorum sahanda yumurta geliyor,arkadaşlarım 4 yaşındaki ikiz çocukları için ilave yatak istiyor gelen cevap "sizin grupta yalnız kalan bir bayan vardı.Çocukları onun yanına verebilirsiniz" oluyor.Akşam yemeğinden sonra kahve içmek için otelin cafesine çıkıyoruz ama kahve isteyecek kimseyi bulamıyoruz.Muhattap ararken girdiğimiz mutfaktan "burada ne işiniz var,buraya giremezsiniz" şeklinde kovuluyoruz.Derdimizin kahve olduğunu söylediğimizde de "şu anda herkes bavul taşıyor" cevabını alıyoruz.Kabus gibi haftasonunun üzerine de bol miktarda para bırakıp bir daha dönmemek üzere ayrılıyoruz..Hayatta başarılar dileriz.Bu arada, grup 20 kişiydi ve tek memnun kalan yoktu.. i

Serdar Liman 19.10.2009 09:37:47Bazı insanlar vardır hiçbir şeyden mutlu olamazlar.ABD başkonsolosunun,Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Genel Kurmay Başkanının,Türkiyenin önde gelen yazar ve sanat camiasının gelip misafir defterine hayranlıklarını belirten yazılar yazdığı bu otele,böyle insafsız eleştiri yapan bir zihniyetin hayatta hiç bir şeyden mutlu olamayacağı aşikardır.Kendisine tavsiyem, mutlu olamayıp karalamaya çalıştığı bu otelin sitesine girip,ziyaretçi defterinde mutlu olan insanların mesajlarını okuyup bir özeleştiri yaparak bu isimler arasındaki sıralamada yerini tesbit etmesidir.
