ASSOS

Antic harbor town

Assoss, where historical and natural beauties coexist, is considered to have been founded in 10 B.C by the Methymnan people who came from Mytilene Island. Today officially named as Behramkale or Behramkoy, Assoss is 100 km far from Çanakkale. It is located on andesitic rocks on the slope of a volcano, against the Edremit Gulf and Mytilene Island. It is one of the most significant settlement areas of the antic ages, also a harbor town. The town is separated into two areas as harbor and village. You can taste the delicious Aegean fish in the restaurants at harbor.

Şimdiye kadar kaldığım en iyi oteldi. Sessiz, doğal, gösterişsiz, ama çok temiz ve her türlü konfora sahip. Umarim bu kaliteyi sürdürür. (Kaldığımız süre içerisinde tek sorunum sıcak ve iyi demlenmiş çayın her an olmayışı idi.) Teşekkür ederim.
