Çakıroğlu Mansion is standing for the past 200 years. The mansion, which starts to offer accommodation service after renovation, has an indoor restaurant for 30 people and an outdoor restaurant for 40 people. Safranbolu
SAFRANBOLU
The name of Safranbolu is derived from saffron, a rare plant cultivated in the region. It is located on the northern side of Karabük city center (appr. 8 km away). This city, famous for its classical Ottoman architecture, the sample houses of which can be seen in Beypazarı, Göynük, Odunpazarı, etc., is one of the 9 cultural heritages of Turkey, listed in World Heritage List. There are many rivers in the region, such as Araç River, Soğanlı River and Ovacuma River, which all create big canyons. Beside the deep and long canyons, there are also natural springs in the caves on the skirts of the mountains. There are two main uplands, named Uluyayla and Sarıçiçek. In the middle of Uluyayla, just 50 km. away from the city center, there is a lake and a cave underneath, with an underground river. Sarıçiçek upland, 8 km. away from Safranbolu, is suitable for camping and hill climbing.

Sibel Keser 22.11.2010 12:08:13Bayram tatilimizi konakta geçirdik ve 2 gün önce döndük. Ama aklımız hala konakta kaldı ki döndüğümüzden beri herkese anlatıyoruz. Konak, odalar, mantı, baklava, hoş sohbet kısacası Safranbolu' da geçirdiğimiz her an sayenizde süperdi. Ev gibi sıcacık bir ortam. Hatta eşim sandalye kırdı ama Aydın Bey gıkını bile çıkartmadı. :D Aydın Bey' e ayrıyetten tekrar teşekkür etmek istiyorum. Çünkü konağı internetten ben buldum ve eğer bizimkilerin beklentisinin dışında olsaydı dillerinden kurtulamazdım. Ama konağa gideceklere benden tavsiye: tavlada süper değilseniz sakın Aydın Bey' in karşısına oturmayın... Aysun Hanım' a selamlar ve herşey için tekrar teşekkürler... Herkese tavsiye ederim...
